Description

Fasting during the summer, vacation, or COVID-19 quarantine might be difficult on children. The days are long and there are not many activities to do around the house to keep them busy. I would like to share a list of 100 activities that I put together to help my fasting child during Ramadan.

We built a 3D masjid model (check out our instagram for pictures http://instagram.com/glitteracademy ). We cut out the list of ideas and put them inside the mosque. The rule is: you can pick a random activity, up to 3 per day, when you feel bored or hungry. If a child picks 3 per day, they will use 90 activities. I added 10 extras for an exceptional day when they might need an additional one or if they didn't necessarily enjoy a picked activity and want to try again.

You do not need to build a 3D mosque for this. You can use a basket, box, a jar, or anything else to put the ideas for random selection.

I will be adding additional Ramadan resources to keep the kids busy. Follow us here on TpT, Instagram, and Facebook for an update. The next uploads will include an activity packet for Ramadan, a lesson plan for 30 days, and a journal.
