10 Spanish Phonics /G/ Fuerte and Suave (Hard /G/ and Soft /G/) Worksheets

Between cut-and-paste and color-in worksheets, these 10 hard and soft /g/ Spanish phonics activities will help students distinguish between the /ge/, /gi/, /gue/, /gui/, /güe/, /güi/ sounds, while also having fun!

These activities are also ideal for ELL/emergent bilingual and SIFE who are still learning to read and write in their home language.

The first six sheets have students color in the picture containing the word with the soft /g/. The last 4 pages are cut-and-paste worksheets that have students cut and paste the missing sounds for all hard and soft /g/ sounds.
