Description

This Prezi contrains 15 information slides covering the Science standards cross cutting concept of structure and function
• The shape and stability of structures of natural and designed objects are related to their function(s). (1‑LS1‑1).
Students will learn about how humans have mimicked the efficient body of fish when designing boats.
They will understand how nature uses triangles for strength in both the structure of tree roots and branches and also the wings of butterflies.

The prezi includes practical activities for students to undertake during the presentation and on screen questions for students to answer.

This prezi is bright and colourful and your Year 1 and 2 students will be highly engaged during the presentation.
