Adjectives of Personality in Spanish - Quiz and Reading Comprehension

"¿Qué tipo de amigo eres?" is a student-centered activity that encourages students to use the target language to talk about themselves and others. It covers personality adjectives and includes beginner-friendly structures and verbs. It is perfect for Español 1 & 2 students. It can also be a fun revision game for students of a higher level.

Format

• Interactive Google Slides Quiz: Students choose answers based on their personality. After each question, students are awarded a shape (square, triangle, circle or star). At the end of the quiz, students sum up how many they got from each shape and read their personality test results. There are 4 in total. An example of a question would be:

-Tu amigo se cae, ¿qué haces?

-¿Con qué animal te identificas?

- Es el cumpleaños de tu mejor amigo, ¿cómo lo celebras?

There are hints in the slides to help students understand the meaning of the questions
and the answers.

At the end of the quiz, students read a short text about their personality based on their
answers.

• Writing/Speaking activity: students share their opinion on whether or not they agree with the results.

• Reading: In this reading activity students read all four personality descriptions. There are two versions of the reading activity. One is designed as a group activity. The other is better for individual work and comes with 3 worksheets.
