Introduction to Time Signatures and Rests for Young Kids

This is a resource I created to help apply the concepts of rests before using them in music notation. It is also a great pre-introduction for young kids to time signatures long before they actually see and learn about time signatures. In this exercise, the students count to 4 over and over again, but only clap on the numbers that are bold/colored. Instead of clapping, classroom instruments can be added.
