This story map goes along with the story "Tubby the Tuba" by Paul Tripp. Read the story then have the students fill out the worksheet. There are two differentiated versions of the worksheet included. On the first page, the students are asked to name the main characters and secondary characters, as well as identify the families of the orchestra and the tessitura of the instruments. On the second page, the students are asked to map the story by filling in the First, Second, Third, and Last boxes.

Reading Extended Response Lyrics CEIEIO
I have written a little song to go along with the method CEIEIO (change the question, evidence, interpret, oh I get it) to help students remember the order in which they need to write the different components of reading extended response questions.
