This document allows student to use the Rally Coach Kagan structure to conduct peer conferences using each aspect of the on demand writing rubric. Copy each set and gives cards to students. Place students into groups. One at a time a student reads a peer's writing and chooses a card to give comments about the particular part of the rubric. With this instructional strategy, students are learning from their peer's writing and it turn learning the essential parts of the writing rubric

When you need a step for reading groups or workshops, the journal jar is like a "free write" option for students.
