Kindergarten Word Family Smartboard
This smartboard family allows students to spell words from 10 word families (am, an, all, at, in, ing, ig, op, ug, un).
I have also attached an excel file with all the clipart I used in the smartboard files. I printed these pictures and put them on construction paper houses near my word wall. Students love to read them during "Read the Room"! You could also print them and use them as flash cards. Click on the attachment tab in the SmartBoard file to access the cards.

Fading Dot Cards for Subitizing
This smartboard activity is to help students to subitize to 10 using dot cards. The dot cards slowly fade away so students can identify the numbers quickly. Students can look for groups of dots to help count and identify the number.
K.CC.4a When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
K.CC.4b Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects count

Pre-K Rapid Recognition Numbers/Letters Charts
When used daily, these charts will increase fluidity in recognizing numerals and letters of the alphabet. Later in the weeks there are sight words included . This package contains 35 weeks of pre-made slides. Simply add a screen shade to the slide and move it down one row at a time. Students will say the letter/number/word in the row as quickly and efficiently as possible every day for the given week. Must have SmartBoard Notebook application to use this file.

Practicing Letter Sounds Smart Notebook
Through balanced literacy our students learn all of the letter sounds. I found that many of the students were having a difficult time remembering which letters had more than one sound. On the practice cards I added one sticker dot for each sound the letter made in order to help the students more easily recall. Sight words flashcards for Smartboard-"Rocket Learns to Read"
Inspired by the book How Rocket Learned to Read, I have created flash cards to be used on your Smartboard. It is in the Notebook software. Nothing to print, laminate or cut. Just download and turn on the screen. I have not locked the pages so you can move them around in whatever order you need. Rocket's friends and the Little Yellow Bird teacher appear on each screen along with a sight word. You will also find 11 of the color words grouped together.
