Celebrity Letter Writing Activity
My middle school students loved this activity. We wrote letters to many celebrities over the years. Everyone from the office staff to the students would get excited when mail arrived back. Students received autographed pictures from sports professionals like Tiger Woods to actors like John Travolta. The objective, of course, is to teach them how to write friendly letters correctly and address envelopes without punctuation errors. I will be doing this with my high schoolers this year.
