Reading Strategies Bookmarks
These handy bookmarks are a great way to encourage your students to use reading strategies while they read independently. VIP (Very Important Part) Bookmark - Editable!
This bookmark is used by students while reading a novel or longer piece to make note of important details they will want to refer back to later. It is used as a "quick jot" so that they just need to note the page number, placement on page, and reason for marking. When completing discussions and later follow-up work, students can then quickly find the information previously marked without having to flip through the entire novel.
