Yearbook Task Cards and Story Ideas for Yearbook
- Zip
Description
As a third year yearbook advisor I realized the need to be able to have ready-made
tasks and assignments on hand, especially for those students who say there is nothing
to do! These task cards work great to always have an assignment or task on hand for those students.
Included:
10 People Task Cards and Story Ideas
10 Academic Task Cards and Story Ideas
10 Clubs/Activities Cards and Story Ideas
10 Sports Task Cards and Story Ideas
10 Student Life Task Cards and Story Ideas
5 Designer Task Cards
5 Writer Task Cards
10 Assistance Task Cards (Tasks for students to do when they have nothing to do!)
20 Mod Task Cards and Ideas
Student Completion Sheet for all task cards
90 Cards Total
Each task card is labelled with a letter and number that corresponds to that task card or question, students can then mark off on their student completion sheet which cards they have finished. (Although some cards are meant to be used more than once.)
Print them in color or grayscale, cut into individual cards and laminate them. I took mine to Kinkos and they did a great job printing and laminating them. It’s more expensive, but I look at it as an investment, knowing I will use them over and over again.
Ways to use in your Yearbook classroom:
As learning tasks for writers and designers
As story ideas and assignments.
As early finisher work.
For students who say they have nothing to do!
