What educators are saying

Love this resource! Implemented word of the day as part of my morning meeting, and students loved it! I put the word card up on the board, then had students write their own sentence using the word to show their understanding. Great way to build vocabulary!
These word of the day activities were great for bellwork! My students were engaged, and they learned a lot from the vocab words. Great purchase.

Description

Word of the Day for Middle School Digital and Print

I don't know about you, but I always find it challenging to ensure that all of my students are exposed to rich vocabulary words on a daily basis. Since my school does not have a separate vocabulary program, I made it my goal to expose my students to at least ONE new word a day.

You can print these posters and display them in your classroom or cast your screen! If you are using this resource remotely, you can discuss each word in your Google Meet as a "Do Now" activity or you can post your daily or weekly set of words in your Google Classroom!

Included (older version of resource)

-180 colorful posters that include the word, part of speech, and sentence (as PDF for easy printing)

  • 180 colorful posters that include the word, part of speech, and sentence (as .pptx for projection purposes)
