Description
This Google Slides resource can help students understand the importance of history and how to think like a historian. It covers various topics, including the definition of history, why it matters, historical thinking, and the tools used by historians such as primary and secondary sources and artifacts.
This resource also includes interactive activities like vocabulary practice, sketch note activity, "History Detective" practice, and "Hexagonal Thinking" exercise to help students engage with the material and gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Additionally, reflection questions are included to encourage students to reflect on what they have learned and apply it to their own lives.
Student Instructions: As you make your way around the gameboard you will learn about why history matters, how to “think like a historian” and the “tools” of a historian.
