The newest version is Google Slides. I project these in my classroom for students to see. It reduces photocopies and makes life much easier because the setup is done in advance.
We have created lessons that correspond to each of the expectations of the Ontario curriculum. All lessons follow a 3-part format including expectations, learning goals, examples, minds-on activities, action activities, extension/discussion activities, and consolidation activities. In some instances, there are two lessons to cover an expectation because of the depth and/or difficulty. I would suggest you move on at a pace appropriate for your students.
✔ Math Worksheets
Upon request, we created a math workbook that addresses each curriculum expectation. Ontario Math teachers can print the sheets for their students or share them directly in their digital classroom.
We've created a self-checking version of the grade 8 workbook using Easel. We are currently working on the grade 7 version.
✔ Stations (Centres)
Give your students to work on the material in a different way. I use this as an opportunity to spend some time with GUIDED GROUPS (Questions included) for the first half of the period and monitor/assess during the second half of the period.
✔ Unit Tests, Culminating Activities, and Study Guides
I give the students the Study Guide at the beginning of the unit and have them meet with me periodically before the test to ensure they understand the material.

Q: I bought one of the individual units and now I'd like to upgrade to the FULL YEAR bundle. Can the bundle price be prorated?
A: This is our most frequently asked question! In most cases, TpT will honour a request to upgrade from an individual unit to a bundle. If your request does not meet TpT's requirements, reach out to us at teach@pastthepotholes.com and we will work together to find a solution.
Q: I'm not from Ontario. Can I use your math resources?
A: Absolutely! Our math units are based on the Ontario curriculum but many teachers outside of Ontario are using our resources effectively. Just double check it covers the skills you are looking for.

❉ This is a Google Drive product. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE THE BONUS FILE! You will download the teacher notes pages with a link to the folder containing all other files. If you prefer not to use Google Drive, you can easily download this folder to your hard drive.
Please Note: If you prefer not to use the resources that align with the 2020 curriculum changes, the original versions are still available.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not specifically designed for a split grade.
This discounted bundle was created upon request for teachers who bought one of the Entire Year of Math bundles and wanted the other to use while teaching a split grade.
✎ You will have access to the two separate grade bundles. There is some overlap where possible but it is not combined lessons.
✎ The lessons, tests, and study guides are different between the grades, but some of the stations and supplementary resources are used in both.
✎ Future updates will include a guide to blending these two separate programs to help those teaching split grades.
