    Description

This ULTIMATE THEATRE HISTORY BUNDLE gives you all 11 Theatre History Sessions PLUS five BONUS lessons (an immersive Broadway-centered activity lesson plus the sessions "Shakespeare and Disney", "The Lion King: World Cultures on Broadway", "Existentialism Theatre", and "Theatre of the Absurd")! Enough materials to cover weeks, months -- or even a whole semester -- worth of classes! Take your students on an engaging, dynamic, and dramatic trip through the fascinating history of storytelling and performance. NO prior theatre knowledge needed!

*Click on PREVIEW to see full previews of ALL sessions!

Each session is an engaging and immersive Google Slides presentation filled with embedded text, videos, pictures, interactive activities, and review questions. Each file is also programmed with text animation and video start/stop times. All the work is done for you! These full lessons are easily understandable and are great for theatre and non-theatre students alike (perfect for humanities/arts classes).

Each session is a FULL LESSON completely built by a theatre professor and theatre industry professional. In fact, several sessions are so large they could easily be divided into multiple class sessions. Every Theatre History Session is also fully customizable/editable and can be tailored towards younger students (Middle and High School) or older students (College/University, Adult).

These Theatre History sessions come equipped with:

    • Engaging videos, colorful pictures, and enlarged texts.
    • Intelligent and concise discussions of crucial movements, philosophies, and components of theatre and performing.
    • Insightful and fascinating analyses of significant pieces of theatre throughout history from various parts of the world.
    • Review questions & answers (great for end-of-class review and quizzes/tests).

Although each Theatre History session focuses on a specific historical time period and can be individually used, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that they be presented together and in the suggested order. The reasoning for this is the sessions connect to each other and build on one another (i.e. using terms learned in previous sessions and recalling previously mentioned concepts to compare/contrast).

**Content Warning: Discussions in some sessions cover theatre that deals with more mature adult themes (such as sex, suicide, gun violence, assault, racism, and child abandonment). Please feel free to go through the presentation and change/modify/edit any slides as needed to match appropriateness level for your students!
