In this set of partner phonics games, you'll find an assortment of interactive and engaging games that will keep your students motivated and enthusiastic about learning. Each game is carefully crafted to provide targeted practice with specific phonics concepts, making it easy for students to grasp and reinforce understanding.

There are 8 games used with three sets of words that increase in complexity. Games include word-reading and sentence-reading and move from simple compound words to more complex multisyllabic decoding.

Words move from simple to complex along these three groups of words:

  • Set #1: compound words (short vowel only), closed two-syllables (vc/v & vc/cv)
  • Set #2: open two-syllables (v/cv), compound with VCE, two-syllable with VCE / EE
  • Set #3: multisyllabic with r-controlled vowels
