Description
Need a fun and engaging way to practice math fluency? Do you like to get your students up and moving while they're learning? These task cards are your answer!
Task cards can be used in multiple ways: as a SCOOT game (solve and pass to the next person), as a “Write the Room” type of activity (students look for hidden task cards around the room), or as an early finisher activity (place the cards on a binder ring and have fast finishers work through the stack!). These cards took a LONG time for my 2nd graders to work through, which is why I only included 16 problems. If your class size is large, I’d suggest using it as a math center, where a group of students are working through these problems while other groups are working in another center. They could also work in pairs. The possibilities are endless!
INCLUDED in this product are: 4 DUPLICATE sets of 16 task cards (with & without QR codes, and colored & black/white), with various THREE-DIGIT ADDITION and SUBTRACTION (with regrouping) problems; a student recording sheet; and an answer key. Also included are 2 sizes of optional LABELS/covers which can be glued onto your task card storage containers. Cards with a QR code can be scanned by students or by the teacher on any device, to check for accuracy. Your students will CHEER when it's time for task cards!
