Theme Analysis Through Song Detailed Plans and 2 Week Unit BUNDLE

Students will develop a deeper understanding of theme and how theme is presented with the use of literary devices by analyzing songs and song writers’ craft.

Because most students have a strong interest in music, using songs and song writers as a vehicle for learning about theme will increase student understanding, engagement, and enjoyment in a lesson central to understanding all texts.
