This St. Patrick's Day collaborative door poster and writing activity is a perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick’s day with your students. Students also have an opportunity to imagine and write a story about a leprechaun and illustrate a scene from their story. Once completed the poster, stories and illustrations make a wonderful classroom display!

• Each piece includes a color key, instructions, number, and where it is located in the poster.

★ Story Planning Sheet with 5 components of a story

• Your leprechaun's name
• Other characters in your story. Who they are and their names
• The setting (Where does the story take place?) Be descriptive, what
• does it look like? smell like? What time of year is it?
• The plot - What happens at the beginning? In the middle? At the end?
• The conflict - What are some challenges they meet along the way. Be creative!
• The resolution - How did you characters overcome the challenges
• they faced? How did the story end?

★ Blank Story Sheet with space for Illustration

★ Clear teacher set up directions with poster guide.

Finished poster is approximately 36” x 64”.

IMPORTANT: Choose “Fit to page” and print in high resolution GRAY SCALE. Do NOT print in black and white as the color key will NOT show up!
