What educators are saying

We watched the movie and then used this resource to show the students actual pictures and they LOVED it!

Description

I am more than a little obsessed with stories of sweet, brave animals in war. Thus, I am more than a little obsessed with WWI's most decorated dog, Sergeant Stubby.

This package includes a Google Slides presentation with pictures and the story of Sgt. Stubby, a worksheet with questions to go with the 2018 movie, Sergeant Stubby: An American Hero, a worksheet with primary source context practice, and a reading worksheet with discussion questions. The activities can be used with any age group, but here are my recommendations:

- Slides: Any group

- Movie Questions: Any group

- Primary Source & Context Worksheet: grades 9-12

- Reading worksheet & discussion questions: grades 6-9
