Description
Kindergarten Math Journals are the perfect way to supplement your math curriculum. They are NO PREP. Simply print out the journal packets, staple, and you have math on hand for the month!
This September / Beginning of the Year Math Journal focuses on the following concepts:
- Number sense 1 to 10
- Number writing 1 to 10
- Introduction to ten frames
- Introduction to tally marks
- Decomposing numbers with dominoes
- Writing numbers in word format
- Introduction to a number line
- Each number page is accompanied with a supplemental page that reinforces proper number writing formation. Repetition is so important in order to develop proper handwriting techniques. Be sure to encourage your students to begin all numbers moving from the top to the bottom.
These journals work well in the classroom, for remote learning, and as a homeschooling resource. Cover choices are included. Choose the one you like best for your math journals!
I recommend printing the pages double sided so that the page spread shows the number sense page and the number handwriting page.
