Try something new to introduce the policies, procedures, and expectations for your middle school science class this year! This is a doodle notes style syllabus that your students will love! I have tried different syllabus styles through the years and this one has been the most effective for getting and keeping my students’ attention while I discuss my expectations and rules.

Included in this syllabus are sections for:

-school name, course, teacher name, school year

-goals for the course

-supply list

-teacher contact information

-class website address or Google Classroom join code

-curriculum overview

-grading policy

-absence policy

-beginning of class procedure

-rules and consequences

-honesty policy

-a note about good character

-student signature

The text in this document is what I write on my syllabus, but you can edit the text of this resource as needed! Due to clip art licensing agreements, the doodles are not editable… but I hope that by editing the text boxes, you’ll be able to meet your needs! There are two versions of page 1 and there is a completely editable page with the same doodle border where you can add in your own text boxes and doodles!
