What educators are saying

Excellent small group enrichment resource to help identify the meaning of a word through morphology.
This is a really great product that can be used in multiple ways, which I love. They can be sort of like a bunting classroom display, cut up for a puzzle, used with the worksheets. Lots of fun and engagement for the students

Description

Affixes, prefixes and suffixes, are word parts that influence word meaning. These morphemes, such as "un-" or "-er," are attached to a base word and change its meaning. Learning prefixes and suffixes is crucial for improving vocabulary, word comprehension, and effective communication. It provides students with the skills to breakdown of unfamiliar words, to build new words, and to build word-detective skills to solve for unknown words.

The puzzles and recording logs in this resource are hands-on ways to review and practice word parts. Perfect for the primary classroom, the puzzles include eye-catching pictures and just-right definitions for little learners.
