What educators are saying

This was a great resource to use as I started to introduce my son to more sight word practice. With this he could incorporate his love of play doh so win win!
This Sight Word Resource is engaging for my Kindergarten students. They have to build with playdough, and my students enjoy manipulating playdough. They need to read, trace, and write. Thanks

Description

Teach sight words with this multi-sensory fun and hands-on activity. Pre-Primer Playdough Activities Mats. Build, Read, Trace, and Write! These activity mats are great for your ELA centers, literacy centers, and literacy work stations. Perfect for preschool, pre-k and kindergarten emergent readers! Illustrations are included with ALL of the words.

This resource contains the following:

✔ 37 sight activity mats with sight words from the pre-primer list

✔ PLUS 8 additional color word mats.

BOTH full color and black and white mats are included.

Each 8.5 x 11" mat is divided into the following four areas:

Build The sight word printed at the top of each page in a large font provides an opportunity to build the word using play dough or waxed yarn. Students can cover the word with buttons, baubles, or counters; color the word; or finger trace the word.

Read An illustrated sentence provides the opportunity for students to identify the word and read the word in context.

Trace Students can trace each word over the dotted font.

Write - Students can write the word on the lines.
