Playbill Syllabus for Theater Class
Description
A syllabus can be a pretty boring document, and going over it with your class can be equally dull. One way I've found to start expectations for my theater classes with excitement is to jazz-up my syllabus. This year, I'm giving out a mock playbill as my syllabus. After requests on Instagram, I've made the file editable and available for licensing here.
This ZIP file contains two Powerpoint files: the cover and the insides. You can print your own cover or get it professionally printed (recommended). Then edit, print, and run-off your insides and assemble with a long-arm stapler. Tada!
The layout of this syllabus includes space for:
- Cover Page
- Course Goals
- Course Materials and Cell Phone Policy
- Rules, Mission Statement, Grades, and Academic Integrity
- Sick Policy and Late Policy with Notes pages
- Extra Credit
- Show Dates
- Back Cover Ad Space
This file is fully editable so you can replace any section to fit your needs!
A PDF document with instructions includes directions for updating the cover to include your mascot and printing using Windows. I do not own a Mac and therefore cannot offer advice for printing on OS.
