Description
Perfecting Personification with Petey Parrot - Figurative Language PowerPoint Lesson
This 28 slide PowerPoint is colorful and supremely engaging! Students will absolutely love Petey the Parrot, and will no longer feel like personification is so difficult to understand. Students will have several examples to understand what personification is, then be challenged to find the part of the sentence that is personification, and finish it off with determining whether or not a sentence is personification. To complete the lesson, students must complete a constructed response (CC) question to determine mastery of the common core standard.
