Description
This project introduces middle school general music students to the concept of parody and parody songs in particular. Students will be able to listen to and analyze examples of parody and create a parody song of their own.
This product includes:

- Gives step-by-step directions on how to create a parody

Possible Extensions to the project -
- Students could perform their parodies in front of the class.
- Students could record themselves singing their parodies.
- Students could make a lyric video of their parody
- Students could make a music video of their parody, acting out scenes related to their chosen topic
NOTE: The slide backgrounds are locked for copyright purposes, but text, photos, and video can be added at the teacher’s discretion. Slides can also be put in different orders.
