Description

Help prepare your third-grade class for the NC ELA EOG. This important assessment generates a lot of nerves for teachers, students, and parents. The best way to alleviate anxiety is to feel prepared. I have been teaching third grade in North Carolina for a long time and have learned a thing or two about what to expect from the EOGs over the years.

Included in this product are 5 different passages. The passages were written at an end of third-grade reading level. The genres included are commonly seen on the End of Grade assessment.

The multiple choice questions have been designed to touch upon every single standard outlined in the most recent North Carolina unpacking document.

This practice assessment can be used in several different ways. You can use it all at once as formative data in multiple sessions. It can also be used as a teaching tool in groups.

The assessments can be administered as paper and pencil or on Google Classroom using the Self-Grading Google Forms version.
