This is a four page PDF that includes a mini lesson on Abstract Nouns & three different Montessori activities. Students are asked to identify the abstract noun, or nouns from a group of underlined words in a sentence. There are six sentences in each activity. If the first activity there is only one abstract noun in each sentence but in activities two and three there are between one and three abstract nouns in each sentence.
My Lower Elementary (1st-3rd) grade students work with this activity and have demonstrated a sufficient understanding of abstract nouns.
For longevity I print on cardstock & laminate. I cut out the answers and glue onto the back of each card before laminating for easy self correction. This material will fit into a language "skyscraper" drawer.
Enjoy!
