Description
This cultural reading discusses the annual Monarch butterfly migration from the US/Canada to Mexico which coincides with the Day of the Dead celebration. It talks about the cultural significance of Monarchs in the pre-Columbian Aztec belief system, how the migration is undertaken and how it ties in with the celebrations.
The reading is followed by 8 short answer reading comprehension questions.
