Description

This is a 3rd Grade modified Government Unit that is supported with picture symbol text and visuals. This is also a great unit for reinforcing literacy skills, comprehension, vocabulary.

This unit includes:

1) Mini 7 page Book of Short Passages on topics (*Constitution * Bill of Rights *Branches of Government *Legislative Branch *Executive Branch *Judicial Branch) with picture keywords for each passage.

2) 18 Picture Vocabulary with picture symbol text support definitions. This can be used a reference sheet and a matching activity when cut-out.

3) 5 pages of Multiple Choice Comprehension Checks of the mini passages. Cut out and glue the missing word to complete the sentence using text evidence to support your answer. This helps practicing using the text to answer questions. (Topics:
* Constitution * Branches of Government * Legislative Branch * Executive Branch
* Judicial Branch)

4) 10 Multiple Choice Question & Answer cards to practice the main concepts. (great check for understanding activity for centers when you laminate the pages and the student circles the answers).
