Description
The perfect remediation for students struggling with long division. This template helps students who are learning 4-digit by 1-digit division. I would recommend laminating the large template or putting it in a plastic sleeve so students can reuse the same page over and over again. The smaller templates are great for practice problems done in class or for homework. This download includes four pages, each with different size templates (a full page template, a page with 2 templates, a page with 4 templates, and a page with 9 templates).

Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
