Description
A complete unit covering the life, struggles, and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr. as well as the passage and content of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The download includes enough material for four days of a history or a reading class. The file includes three reading activities, three sets of multiple choice reading comprehension questions, three student response essay questions, three guided reading activities, two sets of vocabulary checks, a series of completion questions, true and false questions, an overall unit vocabulary activity, and a final word builder assignment to wrap up the unit. The lessons were written with Common Core Standards in mind.
