You will need:
paper or copies
lamination for the durability of activities
Smartboard or chart paper for provided charting ideas
Prism or like object to show the colors in light. (You could use a YouTube video instead.)
Pocket chart or like object for sorting the provided pieces.
Popsicle sticks
Colored construction paper
Die cuts
Flashlights or another light source like lamps or overhead projector.
Large sheet of white paper (like the paper that covers doors at school) for shadow dancing with large light for shadow dancing.
This unit contains book lists and website links for your convenience. You can find great resources at your media center or on free apps like EPIC which is free for teachers.
