Use the Life Cycle Sort and Sequencing activities with your students to start or wind up a unit on how living things grow. Children cut out and sort the stages of the life cycles of a frog, butterfly, flowering plant and pine tree before sequencing them to glue to life cycle charts. In Activity 2, early readers also cut labels to add to their charts.
