Description
Flame Test - Electrons, Light
This is a much easier way to do the flame test lab experiment. Usually most experiments have you use a nichrome wire and acid cleaning each time a new test is to be completed. With my method, it will take you only half as much time to complete the lab. This lab includes background information that discusses the usages of the flame test, how electrons emit colored light, and explains the difference between the ground state and excited state of an atom.
Included:
•Background information
•Post lab questions
•Teacher Prep Guide
•Student Lab - print ready!
•Answer Key
Suggestions in the teacher prep guide are given to help you use this experiment year after year!
I hope you enjoy doing this lab as much as I do with my students!
