Description
Students will create a personalized Islamic decorated art project. They will learn about the Arabic alphabet, Islamic art history, and the importance of the Dome of the Rock. Using creative geometrical designs, students will replicate their own interpretation of the entrance to the Dome of the Rock. Supplemental resources are included along with an answer key. This is a great art history project for 7th grade.
