Description
Treat your kids with a Python Coding Bundle for Middle School or High School!
Python is an easy to learn, clean, structured programming language that is perfect to introduce middle school or high school students to.
There are plenty of free cloud based platforms running Python interpreters including repl.it
Python teaches kids coding in a fun, structured way. It can be taught both procedural and object oriented, though most of the school teach it procedural.
This is an introductory course that follows standard curriculum & techniques. The progression is relatively slow and the kids will pick up for sure! No previous coding experience is necessary to get things going! The course takes kids from zero, through sequences and loops, conditionals, functions and procedures to lists, dictionaries and other data structures.
The current Bundle offers:
- lecture notes
- lesson plans
- exercises
so it has everything a teacher needs to hit the ground running!
This course can be taught in a semester.
The course works both at middle school and high school level. I even had some elementary students taking this!
