High School Geometry Task Cards (Single Download)

    Description

This bundle includes all of my high school geometry task cards, providing students with practice on the following skills:

    Intro to Geometry

    Reasoning + Proof

    Parallel + Perpendicular Lines

    Congruent Triangles

    Relationships within Triangles

    Polygons + Quadrilaterals

    Similarity

    Right Triangles + Trig

    Transformations

    Area

    Surface Area + Volume

    Circles

    Each set includes:

    • 24 Task Cards (4 to a page)
    • Student Recording Sheet (mini white boards work as a great alternative!)
    • Answer Key
    • 32- unique MATHO game boards (laminate & reuse or print enough for each student and have them mark answers with a highlighter.

NOW ALSO INCLUDES a folder of all 24 cards saved as PNG images. These can be easily uploaded into a digital file (such as google forms or slides). Pick and choose which questions you like and create your own assignment. NOTE: Assignments created with these images may NOT be resold on TpT or any other website.

PERFECT to use as a quiz/ test review or just for extra practice after the skill is introduced.

Task Cards: Use the cards for activities such as "scoot", a walkabout activity, or display them under the document camera and have students write their answers on mini whiteboards.

After purchase, any additional sets of task cards that are added to this bundle, can be downloaded for free.

Represent transformations in the plane using, e.g., transparencies and geometry software; describe transformations as functions that take points in the plane as inputs and give other points as outputs. Compare transformations that preserve distance and angle to those that do not (e.g., translation versus horizontal stretch).
Given a rectangle, parallelogram, trapezoid, or regular polygon, describe the rotations and reflections that carry it onto itself.
Given a geometric figure and a rotation, reflection, or translation, draw the transformed figure using, e.g., graph paper, tracing paper, or geometry software. Specify a sequence of transformations that will carry a given figure onto another.
Use geometric descriptions of rigid motions to transform figures and to predict the effect of a given rigid motion on a given figure; given two figures, use the definition of congruence in terms of rigid motions to decide if they are congruent.
Explain how the criteria for triangle congruence (ASA, SAS, and SSS) follow from the definition of congruence in terms of rigid motions.
