What educators are saying

Laura's resources always add an additional layer of thinking and engagement to lessons. This was no exception!
I used this resource with my English 4 seniors. It was a great resource to use and I will be using it again in the future.

Description

Use this package of scene-by-scene questions covering William Shakespeare’s timeless tale, The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, to pull your students into the text and inspire them to think deeply about Shakespeare’s themes.

This packet includes 20 pages of student handouts with detailed questions (plot points, inference, and personal connections) covering every scene of Hamlet’s tormented quest to avenge his father’s murder. A separate 13-page detailed answer key is also included, of course. (A total of 33 pages in PDF format and Google Drive version of student handouts is included.)

The worksheets can serve as nightly homework assignments, small-group or full-class discussion starters, short-answer quizzes, and/or differentiated enrichment. I like to mix-and-match the use of these worksheets to keep things fresh as we work through our Hamlet unit.
