Description

Are you looking for a fun way to incorporate poetry writing into your classroom? Do you need a fun autumn bulletin board idea?

Haiku poems are a fun and creative way to reinforce poetry writing within your classroom. They are also a great way to review syllable count in words.

A haiku is often written about nature but can easily connect to Halloween and can depict any element of this fun holiday. Use the templates provided or have your students create their own creative final draft and you have a great bulletin board display!

This set includes the following:
~3 slides to show students (what is a haiku, elements of a haiku and an original sample)
~Black and white copies of the elements slide and sample poem
~Prewriting page for students to plan their poem
