What educators are saying

Great resource to save teacher time in creating in betweenprojects. Great and ready to go with references.
So far we've used the all about me project and students have been doing an excellent job with it! I love that it is all laid out for them and for myself for assessment and evaluation purposes. I'm looking forward to using the other projects throughout the year. Merci!

    Description

Do you need some new ways to assess your students' use of basic French vocabulary and grammar? If so, then you will LOVE these final summative French projects! Each includes detailed instructions and grading rubrics in French and English. The longer projects have pre-writing pages to help guide the writing process.

These French projects are intended for secondary students in beginning French classes. If you are teaching late immersion, these are good practice applying basic grammar and vocabulary. I do not recommend this for young immersion classes due to the complexity of tasks involved.

This bundle includes 5 projects for French beginners:

    ❶ French menu

    ➋ French weather report : Be a meteorologist - create & present a map & weather report

➌ Family tree using possessive adjectives

➍ Clothing catalog using adjectives and clothing vocabulary

➎ All About Me Powerpoint speaking and writing project

All projects come with English and full-French directions and rubrics.

These projects are intended to be used as an assessment piece following a unit of study. If you are looking for materials to teach a vocabulary theme, you might prefer my vocabulary and grammar packets.

With this bundle, your students will be writing and speaking French using all of the important concepts for first year students. They will have a lot of fun and you will love the mastery they show after getting the chance to personalize their learning!
