Description
Practicing letters and sounds is so much fun with this initial sound picture match activity. This resource makes an excellent spring literacy center and can even double as a spring craftivity. Used traditionally, students will match the pictures on each petal with the correct letter printed on the flower stems. This is an excellent whole group or center activity. You can also use this as a spring letter craft or incorporate in your letter of the week routines by having students cut, color, and assemble their beginning sound flower on a piece of construction paper to take home or to display in the classroom. This file includes 131 pages of centers and the activities are in both color and black & white. Your students will have so much fun with this center that they'll want to play again and again. This beginning sound practice activity is perfect for Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classrooms.
