Description
Use this flipchart with small groups or individual students to help them decipher the differences between nice words and mean words. Use each question as a springboard for discussion: How would you feel if someone said this to you? Would saying this make another person feel good? When are some times you could use these words?
Once a student decides whether the phrase on the screen is nice or mean, he/she can slide the box under the appropriate answer to reveal either a green check for a correct response or a red X for an incorrect response.
