    Description

Is poetry hard to teach? Do your students struggle with understanding the meaning of poems? Here's a tool for you to use that will make teaching Frost, Dickinson, Stevenson and Sandburg a lot easier for you and your students!

You will find each of my units on Robert Frost (6 poems, analysis sheets & posters), Emily Dickinson (5 poems & analysis sheets), Carl Sandburg (6 poems, analysis sheets, teaching guide for "Skyscraper," and posters), and Robert Louis Stevenson (6 poems & analysis sheets) all in one bundle to save you money and time! And each set includes biographical information on each poet.

These are great to couple with your reading/literature texts, use as CLOSE READING activities, test prep, or homework. Either teach them as units, or pull poems to fit in with your regular curriculum.

Please check the Terms of Use for the units. The poems are part of public domain, but the analysis and teacher guides were created by me and are subject to copyright laws. You may purchase additional licences to share with interested colleagues at a discount.
