Description
Sometimes DHH students get lost or forgotten about during schools’ emergency drills. In this handout, you’ll find ways to make sure you and your DHH student are prepared and giving them the best accessibility possible. Some of these tips include developing a communication plan/visual alerts, giving the student written instructions or tactile cues, assigning buddies and more!
Use this in an in-service/consult to inform teachers about the effects of allergy season and how it will affect them.
