Editable Reading Trackers! Perfect for 25, 35, and 40 Book Challenges

Do you want your students to track their reading using something other than a traditional reading log? Do you want to challenge them to broaden their horizons and read books outside 1-2 preferred genres? Do you want to have a 40-, 35, or 25-book challenge in your classroom, as detailed by Donalyn Miller in The Book Whisperer/Reading in the Wild? My trackers are perfect for you!

My editable reading trackers come in 25, 35, and 40 book installments. For each number, there is an editable version (that you can type in to set your own genre requirements), a pre-made version (with genres filled in already), and a blank version (for students to set their own genre goals). Students color in the squares as they read books of the different genre. This helps them see their progress throughout the year, and identify genres they still need to explore. You can also celebrate each student as they reach their personal goal.

To make your edits match my original document, you will need to download "LL Elementary 2" and "LL Elementary Dots" from Lovin' Lit fonts. This font is FREE for your personal use.
