First Day AND Open House Slideshow – 2 Versions to Choose from, over 160 slides! Use this resource year after year to make planning and staying organized a breeze! No more forgetting important information during the busy first days of school or during parent open house. Start your school year off feeling organized and prepared!

This resource includes TWO different versions of the slideshow for you to choose from! Select the slideshow design that fits your personality. You will have access to both versions plus any future updates for life, so you can change it up next year if you want! Just copy and paste over your information to the different version.

NEW--Within Version 2, you will find detailed discussion starters and ideas about what you should include on each and every slide. This essentially serves as a Teacher Workbook meant to help you think deeply about the routines, procedures and expectations you set up in your classroom. It also ensures that you do not forget any important information, and helps to support you as you prepare for the first day of school and beyond. Since the slide titles are the same in both versions, I strongly recommend reading through Version 2 for ideas and tips as you create your presentation and prepare for the new school year.

Why a slideshow? Using a slideshow is a great way to introduce yourself, your expectations, and all the important things about your classroom during the first day/week of school. It is also a perfect tool to inform parents about all of this information at Open House! These slideshow presentations have it all! Using a slideshow presentation always been my personal go-to, and this resource now includes over 160+ slides to choose from to fit your specific needs! It’s bright, clean and organized… and helps you stay on track during some of the craziest times of the school year.

Easy to edit! Just type your text directly onto the slides by adding text boxes where needed. There are different options for many slides to make it as versatile as possible. At the end of both slideshows, there are completely editable slides so you can create your own title and add any information you need. I have also included a sample of my own First Day/Week slideshow that I go over with my students for you to use as an example when creating your own. Before presenting your slideshow, simply delete all of the slides that you do NOT want.

All slides are images that cannot be altered. This means that the clip art and fonts will not change (which is a good thing)! It also means that you will choose your own fonts to edit the slideshow how you want.
