WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

❤️❤️❤️Sophie, "Last year I had a newly arrived ELL who spoke no English and I used a lot of these materials to start teaching her the English she would need to survive in our classroom. Her classmates used them to help teach her the words she needed to know and she was speaking English in no time. Great resource!"

❤️❤️❤️Lisa, "My small group of students enjoyed learning and identifying the different classroom objects. They began pointing them out to me whenever we might encounter that object elsewhere in everyday classroom use. They really enjoyed teaching me the Spanish words for all the objects as well."

❤️❤️❤️Meredith, "I get students throughout the year, so this was very helpful in getting to know what they know. I also get a chance to sit and talk with them :)

I am an ESL teacher and use these lessons for my newcomers in a small group. It includes lessons plans that are helpful for new ESL teachers or veteran teachers that have little experience teaching English Language Learners. These lessons will give your children a strong foundation in beginning English and you will quickly see them gain confidence in their speaking. Enjoy! :)

This is Unit 2 in a 20 unit curriculum to help your new English Language Learners.

It is based on WIDA and Common Core Standards. The units may be taught in any order.
