Drivers Education: Driver's Manual Workbook for Learner Permit

The Drivers Education: Driver's Manual Workbook was created in conjunction with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Driver's Manual to help our students prepare for their Learner Permit test.

While completing the workbook, students will have to refer to each chapter. They can view this on their computer or print it out.

Nine chapter are included:

• Traffic control
• Intersections and Turns
• Passing
• Parallel Parking
• Defensive Driving
• Alcohol and Other Drugs
• Special Driving Conditions
• Sharing the Road
• If You are in a Traffic Crash

As students read through each chapter, they will be able to complete the workbook which includes several different strategies to retain information including:

• Graphic organizers
• Fill in the blanks
• Short response questions
• Lists
• Picture

An answer guide is also provided.

This is a printable PDF and must be used in conjunction with the driver's manual in order to respond to complete the workbook.

This packet can be used in any state, as the traffic laws are very similar. Look at the preview for a better understanding of the types of guided questions and information provided.
